My situation is similar - my friend needs prayer to believe/accept God's love and my love, and to believe that God has a helpmate for him (me). My son Braeden graduates high school this year and he really wants to play college baseball. I pray he gets contacted from a school soon and gets a scholarship offer. Thank you for praying for us.
I have been going to my church for about 4 years now and the past year at least I feel like I haven't grown at all. A new pastor is there and I've tried but cannot connect with him and his wife. I don't want to switch churches but I honestly feel something is "off" with the pastor and I'm getting nothing from his sermons. Will you help me pray about what to do? How do I know if it's a problem with me or I really shouldn't be at this church?

My husband of 2 years and friend of almost 10 years told me he wants a divorce. He agrees that love is a choice, but he can't choose to love me anymore. He's going to meet with a lawyer today. Our family is in need of prayer. We've been getting mixed Biblical counsel as our son, age 20, is making poor life decisions. He is choosing to ignore our counsel, and appears to have been taken captive by a young lady whom he is now engaged, against our wishes. We need mightily prayer warriors to help us stand in the gap. To discern the proper ways in which to continue to reach out to our son. We are especially concerned not only for the girl, but for her family who has seemingly taken our son captive in subtle ways. Comments like, 'They have money' It's all complicated.

My husband made a bad business decision a year ago that has steadily gotten worse. We are officially in financial crisis and we have four children. My specific prayer now is for rent money.
