my oldest stepbrother just lost his wife. They have an eight, four, and two-year-old little boy. Possible drug overdose or drug interaction. Prescription drugs. His mother was Jehovah's Witness. I do not know if he is a believer or religious in any way. This is so horrible and tragic. I hope that he will find the Lord. And peace. And I pray for him and his children. URGENT: My dear friend, Maria, is suffering excruciating back pain. She had fusion surgery earlier this year and when pain returned, doctor suggested more surgery. She had a procedure done on the 10th to alleviate pain, but it hasn't helped. She is in agony. Went for a 2nd opinion today and doctor didn't listen to her, just ordered more tests and "We'll see." All this has her depressed and looking for other options in other cities. Please pray for her to find the right treatment option, discernment, relief, and peace soon. Please pray for my family - it looks like we are going to have to put my 89-year-old dad in a nursing home for 5 days of respite care. He has Alzheimer's, limited mobility and is increasingly confused. This respite is supposed to provide some time for him to be stabilized and cared for while we make a family decision about his future care. Please pray specifically for my brother who is not an active Christian and who is having a hard time with this decision. My dad is a believer, so he's ready spiritually. Also pray for comfort for my mother, who is 86. They've been married 61 years.
Please pray for my living situation. I have little money, so I can't afford my own place. One of my roommates is into new age stuff and I think is lesbian. My son is trying to quit using drugs, his marriage is over, he's losing his family and it is both of them who have done wrong and made poor choices.
