I was, at one time saved and close to God. Something tragic happened and I felt betrayed by Him. I stopped looking to him & started focusing on myself,others and alcohol to find the peace that had so tragically been taken from me. For the last few years I have prayed to the Lord to help me. It seems like he's shut me out. He doesn't help me anymore and I'm confused and feeling lost and alone. God's word says he'll never leave us, but he's silent to my pleas for help. I moved and can't find a church that I can call home. My new husband has little, if any faith. We are in a remote area.
I request prayer for my brother-in-law Edson who is at the hospital dealing with an intestine cancer. He is finally receiving liquid food but he is facing anxiety, sometimes he feels sick, his feet are swollen, he is very weak to walk long distance. He has to eat by his mouth & get weight soon. He needs a miracle even more because he is not saved yet. My pastor introduced him the plan of salvation and gave him the book of John but I don´t know if he received it with an open heart. This is my first time requesting a prayer, and I definitely hope its not too much. I have been carrying a lot of burdens on my own. I am a new believer, but my desire to know God is the most important priority in my life right. Please pray for employment opportunities for my husband. He finished his Ed. D a year ago, and has had difficulty even being called for interviews. Please pray for calls for interviews and position offers for him. He is a man of God, and loves the Word. Please pray for my breathing to improve. I don't know what's wrong with me and it's kind of scary. I frequently feel short of breath and kind of "clogged up" in my sinuses. Please pray God will show me what to do -- if I need to break down and go to an allergy/asthma doctor or what exactly to do. I am afraid of having asthma. Thank you for praying for me.

Please continue to pray that our loan modification papers will be approved. Also pray as our only car just stopped working yesterday. I ask that the Lord will guide the mechanic and show him exactly what is wrong with the car and that it will not be an expensive fix.

I had a so-called friend who mocked my clothes in college she even told me the man who has assulted me would never regret it cause I look horrible. I had supported this lady through many highs and lows and even helped her pass her accounting modules. After she felt she did not need my help, she then begun to castigate me for my clothes and lack of artificial nails. It has grossly affected my confidence and my view of if I am courtable. I was paying my own fees and could not buy any new clothes and wore my old clothes back then. Please pray for me. I appreciate all the times you pray for me.

Praying for my marriage. My husband has revealed that he's been planning for many years to leave the marriage. Praying for the Lord to direct my path, my husband has moved on with someone else and living selfishly without fear of the Lord. I don't know if I should fight for my marriage and continue to allow my husband to tear me down every chance he can, or pray for God to help me move on to receive blessings he has planned for my life. I don't want my marriage to end, and believe in God's word on marriage, but I'm broken-hearted, hurt, sad, angry, depressed and tired. Praying for a miracle.
