I have two teenage daughters who come from a broken home. Both their father and I have remarried. I left him because he was abusive. Now he is mentally, verbally & emotionally abusing both of my daughters. My younger daughter (15) barely communicates with us and is depressed. She feels like she has to keep everything peaceful for her dad and needs to keep everything a secret that goes on over there. I want to get her into counseling, but unfortunately need his consent as well for her to go and he has already expressed that he doesn't want that and so now I have no idea what to do for her mental health. My 18 year old was scared to death to go any further than a community college in our hometown because he has such a hold on her and wants her to live at home and not travel far where he cannot see her. She feels like God wants her to go out of state to a Christian college but wants to please her dad and fears the outcome if she doesn't go along with what he wants. Can you please pray that my younger daughter, Ellie, would be able to get help from a wise, older Christian and open up and share her heart? Please also pray that my other daughter, Daphne, would be able to go in the way that God wants her to and not hold back due to fear? Also, for emotional and mental healing from the abuse she has had to endure all these years.
Please, please, please pray for my father's health. I am so worried but I have faith that God will heal him. In Jesus's name, Amen.
Hello, I am writing in faith; believing that prayer changes things. I would like for prayer for my situation. My boyfriend, has been trusting God for a job for 10 months now. He finished his postgraduate studies late last year, where he pursued Master of Arts in Education and has been trusting God for an opportunity to teach in the field of education, as well as be a sports director and also has been yearning to preach the word of the Lord among his generation. He is 30 this year; and he is feeling like he has let me down; because he does not yet have a job; and as such cannot provide for his own needs. He is currently in his home country, Malawi where no opportunities are arising. And as well; his family is not appreciative of his achievements Please help me pray for his situation. He is also in need of the Lord. He loves the Lord so much, but because of the challenges he is facing; he does not go to church as he ought; and does not attend fellowship. He feels like he is alone and tells me that i deserve better, and that his world cannot offer me anything. Yet at the same time he loves me so much but feels like his world has lost promise. Please pray with me that the Lord may intervene in His situation. That He may make a way especially now where there seems to be none. That the Lord may encourage him; and he may submit to the will of the Lord. That He may give him a good well paying job that will enable him to take care of his needs( he would really like to work in Kenya) and that his story may be used to change generations to believe in the power of the Lord that is beyond human understanding. I wish i could explain much more; but i really love him; and it is may prayer that the Lord may restore to him the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, and that He may send His great army and rescue him, that he may eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord our God, who has dealt wondrously with us and that he shall never again be put to shame. Please pray that my dad would receive healing for his eyes and that his sight be restored.He lost sight in one eye because of glaucoma.The cornea in his second eye is also bad.He is to operate the cornea. Please pray for restoration of his sight.

My son Steve has been a Christian for a little over a year, about a month ago he has backslide. He's married and has 2 daughters,they are all so upset, he started doing drugs again and he has left the home and cheating on his wife. He was such a devoted Christian man I know he still loves God but he's stuck in his drug addiction again.weve all been praying for him, he is starting to come back home just to get some rest then leaves again. Please pray for my marriage, m family and home. My husband treats me like a child and not a partner so when something goes wrong I panicked and try to handle it on my own. We fell into difficulty and I had to get hold with our mortgage by working on a modification for which they have denied a couple times now and at this point my husband blames me for everything. He blames me because our 20 yr old son moved out if state because he feel suffocated by his dad, he blames me for my oldest son taking a year if from college I feel so heavily burden and prays that God will make a way for this modification. I pray that he will break down the wall my husband has put up against me and our children. He spiraled out of control when my health took a toll for the worse and he hates my being home. Thank you for praying for my husband's tax situation. God answered prayers! My husband came forward and confessed to me that he has not filed taxes for the last 3 years. He admitted that he was wrong to have lied to me. I was very angry, but, I forgave him. He found a tax service to try to help him to come clean and do everything legally and pay the IRS back. We also decided to entrust this tax service to do our 2014 taxes. We haven't heard back regarding them taking care of our 2014 taxes which is due October 15. Please pray that both my husband's & my 2014 taxes will be done & submitted to IRS in time with their professional help. And, for this team of tax professionals to do an excellent & totally accurate job helping us, not putting things off, but work efficiently to negotiate with the IRS to hopefully decrease my husband's IRS debt to the minimum. Please pray that this tax service team takes good & ethical care of our cases and don't take advantage of us in any ways. And, for IRS to not take any further steps to levy bank accounts or possess assets since we sincerely want to resolve this soon! Thank you!

I hurt my back and seeking medical help now, but this is affecting my ability to work my 2nd job which brings in additional income. I'm thankful for the break and rest, but my finances will be a bit tight. I ask that God will bring in another source of income or opportunity that is less strenuous, labor and exhausting, so I can give up the current 2nd job. I have applied for p/t evening desk jobs, but haven't heard back. Not sure what to do.
Please pray for my daughter, Alex. She's been in recovery for eight months from heroin and has been doing well. She lives far from me now and has not been communicating with family the past month. Renewed strength in right shoulder and be healthy. To have joy, fun, attack school/ volleyball with vigor and joy and get great results. Needs 10 kills both games over weekend and several blocks, digs, aces! God is good and cares about all!
