My husband and I have been married for a little over a year. We recently found out we're expecting our first child. We have been struggling in our marriage pretty much from day 1. I have had a hard time respecting my husband due to his lack of follow through and complete honesty. In turn I feel a lack of love from him and feel ignored. I'm trying to pray for a change IN ME but I find my bitterness arise each time I TRY to pray for this. He had made me believe he was a STRONG and faithful Christian and attending church was important to him yet I find myself sitting alone 90% of the time on Sundays. I need the desire to WANT to pray for myself rather than asking God to change my husband. I feel like this is totally unfair but I need to realize that God never promised it'd be easy. I have an upcoming mammogram on Tuesday. I had an early breast cancer 2012 a few months before that my sister died of advanced breast cancer and my mother had a recurrence. Every time I go for tests I have so much anxiety and fear to the point of postponing it. Please pray I can do this and my test will be normal and my anxiety level will be okay.
