Prayer request:
Please keep AKL, his soon-to-be adoptive parents, and our family in prayer during this transition. I am feeling a little nervous and asking God for peace, clarity, and a sign from above that all is well.
I am praying that AKL will feel safe, loved, and covered by God. I pray that he will adapt well, do well in school, stop lying, learn to regulate his mind and emotions, and heal from all trauma he has experienced.
I am also praying that God will give me peace in my heart and confirmation that Achilles is going to be okay. I need to hear God’s voice clearly, whether through His Word, the Holy Spirit, or a clear sign that brings comfort.
Please also pray that AKL and I will continue to have a loving, healthy, and strong relationship, even through this change. I know God loves him even more than we do, and I am trusting Him to cover Achilles every step of the way.
